TEXAS STATEWIDE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES QUALIFYING RULES

The Texas Statewide Championship Series has divided the state of Texas into three different regions:

North Texas Championship Series, Central Texas Championship Series, and South Texas Championship Series.

Each region will produce one Region Champion every year in each class.

Racers may collect points by competing in more than one region, but the points earned will remain in the same region where the points were earned. (Points do not carry over across regions.)

Special Events: If a racer is competing in multiple regions and that racer competes in the Shootout event or a Triple Moto event, the racer will have to decide which region they are representing at the time of registration and those points will be applied to that ONE region only. (Regions cannot be changed once the first gate drops)

All rounds that racers compete in count towards their point accumulation within a single region. All racers will want to race all rounds to earn as many points as possible.

All racers from all states are welcome to race our Region events to attempt to earn a Texas State

Championship.

Advancement to the Texas State Championship Final

Racers must race the minimum required rounds in the same region.

  • Series with 5 rounds must race three out of five rounds

  • Series with 6 rounds must race four out of six rounds

AND

North Championship Series racers must be top 8 in points to advance to the AMA Texas State Championship Final.

Central Championship Series racers must be top 16 in points to advance to the AMA Texas State Championship Final.

South Championship Series racers must be top 16 in points to advance to the AMA Texas State Championship Final.

If a racer has qualified in multiple regions to the AMA Texas State Championship Final, the racer can only represent one region at the AMA Texas State Championship Final.

Alternates: If you do not qualify in a guaranteed advancement spot, you may still register for the Texas State Championship Final as an Alternate regardless of your finishing position, but you must have a finishing position in at least THREE rounds in either North or Central Championship Series; or FOUR rounds in South

Championship Series to be considered.

Alternate Injured Reserve: If a racer is injured, a racer must race at least two events in the same region and collected points for both rounds. The racer may be eligible to race as an alternate, provided there is an available gate in the class raced. The racer is required to produce a doctor’s note stating they were ineligible to race due to an injury and have been cleared for competition.
